Yoga Threads
Yoga Threads began as a dream. In the spring of 2005 the founder, Kelley, decided to make the plunge and put all her efforts toward starting a yoga clothing company. With lots of love and support from her husband, family and friends, Yoga Threads has progressed from a dream to a reality.
Kelley, who was always interested in the fashion world, majored in Fashion Merchandising at the University of Texas at Austin. While finishing her degree, she came across an amazing yoga studio in Austin, Texas called Yoga Vida. The little studio in Austin, Texas changed her life forever. After one class she had a new passion, yoga. She quickly decided she wanted to become a yoga instructor. After finishing her degree in Fashion Merchandising she become certified in Bikram yoga.
While teaching and taking yoga several times per week she noticed that her yoga clothes were not keeping up with her. They either did not last long or developed an “odor” because of the type of fabric used. Her focus then changed to finding the perfect fabric and fit specifically for yogis and the dream of Yoga Threads began. She wanted Yoga Threads to produce clothes that are attractive, have great fit, exceptional fabric, and be 100% made in the USA.
